CR Associates prepared the Traffic Impact Analysis for the proposed 401 W. Ash Street Hotel project located at the southwest corner of Ash Street and State Street in Downtown San Diego.  The proposed project site is occupied by a 62 space public surface parking lot.  The project proposes to develop a 413-room hotel, including a 2.000 square-foot restaurant, a 1,200 square-foot coffee shop, and 6,000 square-feet of meeting facilities in a 22 story building with 2 levels of underground parking. The Traffic Impact Study identified and documented near-term significant intersection traffic impacts related to the development of the proposed project. A set of mitigation measures was recommended for all identified intersection impacts associated with the project.
