CR Associates is currently assisting the City of Encinitas with its housing element update by providing long-range transportation planning services.  This updated housing plan will allow Encinitas to address the housing choices for its changing population and bring the City into compliance with state law. A minimum of three land use maps are being evaluated including ready-made mixed-use places, modified mixed-use places, and build-your-own. Extensive and ongoing coordination is required with SANDAG and City staff for the model forecast developments.  CR Associates will identify potential traffic impacts associated with each of the land use maps as well as recommend mitigation measures and/or roadway reclassifications.
