As a sub-consultant on this project, CR Associates led the development of a field data collection application designed to help parents and school personnel identify barriers to school access in real-time. The smartphone application was created to assist the City of Los Angeles in cataloging and prioritizing needed improvements, as well as to help in the development of “Suggested Routes to School” student and parent handouts at 50 high-need schools throughout the City.
