CR Associates is responsible for the design of the Country Club Drive bridge for the County of San Diego. Country Club Drive crosses Escondido Creek at a low water crossing, approximately 264 feet south of Harmony Grove Road in the Harmony Grove area, an unincorporated community of San Diego County. The project proposed to replace the existing low water crossing with a new bridge on the same centerline alignment and designed to current design standards including conveyance of the 100-year storm event under the bridge. The new bridge will include 2- 12 feet wide traffic lanes and 2- 8 feet wide should for a total net width of 40 feet between bridge barriers rail. The new bridge will also include a 10 feet wide contiguous multi-use trail located on the downstream side of the bridge for a total bridge width of approximately 55 feet.
