CR Associates identified corridors with high active travel propensity in nine (9) MAG member jurisdictions through a combination of a raster-based high active travel propensity model, existing and planned high-quality multimodal features, connectivity to significant regional points of interest, and input from local and regional staff. An existing conditions Multimodal Level of Service (MMLOS) analysis provided a basis for developing two alternative scenarios for each study corridor. Subsequent MMLOS analyses performed for each alternative illustrated the degree to which bicycle, pedestrian, and transit facility improvements would yield a higher level of service.
